1. Set up the game board and place the pieces according to the setup instructions provided in the game manual.
2. Determine a starting player through a random method (e.g. rolling a die or flipping a coin).
3. On your turn, you have two actions that you can take: Move and Attack.
4. To Move, you can move one of your pieces orthogonally (up, down, left, or right) as many spaces as the piece's movement value allows.
On a phone, use the game’s on-screen controls if they appear. Landscape orientation gives the player more room.
